The super plant ALOE.

As a young child growing up i remembered whenever i would get a cut, bruise or burn, my mom will always break of a piece of the aloe plant and rub the sap into my wounds to help it heal faster.
But now for the last few decades it has been touted in anti-aging creams and has made the jump from wounds to wrinkles.

Aloe sap actually contains at least 13 different drugs. Some of it stops the pain of sunburns, it kills bacteria, viruses, and fungus. It increases collegen in wounds and help some skin rashes.
Now that i'm all grown up, i now do understand the benifits of using this SUPER PLANT and is using it in my daily beauty regime.

Other Alternatives you can use to tone your legs without Heavy Exercise.

Thanks Kandykiss for your Question,so here is the thing. Exercise has always been one of the best things you can do to tone your legs and entire body.
I do understand if you're not a big fan doing the exercises that would get you great legs, trust me i can relate.
My suggestion to you is maybe you can try dieting, that has certainly worked for me.Eating the proper foods in your diet can help minimize body fat and keep the body looking lean.

Here are some of the natural food s you can impliment:
1. Foods high in fibre eg.Beans, peas, nuts( almonds or wallnuts)whole grain foods.
2. Foods low in calories eg.fruits and vegetables( Berries, tomatoes, broccoli, cauliflower, pears etc.)
3.Foods low in fat eg.Fish,Chicken Breast, avocados etc.

You can also just do light outdoors excercise like walking, bike riding, playing sports you like.Doing it outdoors allows you to have more fun and less concerntration on excercising.
Here is another tip, while watching tv or even on the phone, you can do squats in reps of 10 and do it 3 times. This will also tone the legs.

SKIN.

Hello!
Welcome to my blog. Hope that my beauty secrets will help you to improve your overall confidence, health and beauty. Please feel free to ask any questions or enquires that you may have, and i will do my utmost to answer them.

My first tips are on Cleansing, Toning, Exfoliating and Moisturizing the skin.

CLEANSING

It all begins from within.
Water...water....everywhere!
On your face and in your body.
Water is the number one beauty treatment favoured by women of every age. You cannot create beauty without begining with a clean, clear palette.

If you don't drink at least 8 to 10 glasses a day, you are depriving yourself of the best beauty treatment ever.
The first rule of beautiful skin is to stop overcleaning it. This is an unnecessary habit, especially true of women in this country.Unless you've been up all night digging ditches, your face is not dirty. Your morning routine should be nothing more than reactivating last night's moisturizer with a splash of warm water or milk.
Why milk? because milk is a lactic acid and will allow your face to recieve a natural acid treatment.

Make things easy on your skin and your purse by using just one product to remove both makeup and dirt. Never use a deoderant soap on your face or neck. If your skin is practicularly sensitive, don't even use it on your body.

DRY SKIN
Use a lotion or creamed-based product that leave behind emollients( it will feel like a light film on your face).

NORMAL TO OILY SKIN
Use a gel cleanser or a very mild facial soap.

Please be aware that many of the acids on the market today are synthectic and will cause problems with some women. There have been complaints of sensitive rashes and perminent scarring. Be careful of the chemical acids you use.

Here are some nature's acids you can substitute in your cleansing routine. In addition to milk, consider these natural acids:
1. Pineapple juice
2. Lemon juice
3. Tomatoes
4. Most citrus fruits

EXFOLIATE
I cannot stress enough the need for this step. What is Exfoliating?
It is very much like peeling an onion. Exfoliating is necessary to get blood flowing into the face, as well as to remove grime.

Here's what to use:
Take a packet of sugar( raw sugar works the best ), add a couple drops of olive oil to create a spreading condition, and gently rub it into the creases of your face.

Open a packet of instant oatmeal, mix it with water, and create a paste. Rub this mixture into yor face, and rinse off the residue. I would suggest you use instant oatmeal on your face, and the traditional old-fashionednoatmeal to exfoliate your entire body.

Rub Sea salt ( available in health food stores ) all over both your body and face. You'll love its invigorating effects.

MASKS
I found out that those expensive spas that charge hundreds of dollars for "Herbal Wraps" was actually using mud. Not that exoctic mud that we thought was from the dead sea, but a formula created by Kitty Litter.

I know there is clay masks. Clay is perfect for detoxcifying the skin, but that so called "mud" or "clay" treatments is really kitty litter. The catch is that the bags must be marked "100% Natural Clay." It cannot contain any chemical additives, or clumping materials. So with that being said, here are some natural face masks you can use that you can find in your home cubbard.

MAYONNAISE
Apply a whole egg mayonnaise on you face for about 20mins, then rinse with cool water.

PEACH and BRANDY
Mash up a peach( use ripe, canned, or frozen ),and mix in a table spoon of brandy. Leave for 20mins, and rinse off.

TOMATO MASK
For oily skin, mmash up a ripe tomato and leave it on for 15 to 20 mins. Rinse of with warm water ( not hot water )

HONEY MASK
Apply pure honey to your face and neck. Allow it to set until dry( about 15mins ). Then rinse with very warm water.

TONING
Toning is your second step and an important one.
The purpose of toning is to remove any residue of soap, moisturizer, and oil. You can spend lots of money on a toner, or you can save money and use other alternatives that are refreshing and more effective than those expensive toners.

Here are some inexpensive alternatives:
1. Rose Water
2.Witch Hazel
3. Liquid boric acid
Or you can also try a refreshing tea tonic: Mix 2 teaspoon of green tea or chamomile tea with 1/2 cup water. Saturate a cotton ball, and apply all over the face. allow to remain on skin until it evaporates.
Note: there is no reason why you should rinse this or any toner off.

MOISTURIZING
Good basic moisturizers can be found in any drug store. Just do what i did, learn to read the labels, and look for the low-cost ingredients.

LIPIDS: This can be listed also as Ceramides, cerebroides,or sphingo lipids.
ESSENTIAL FATTY ACIDS: Listed as sunflower oil, grapseed oil and primose oil.
SUNSCREEN: available in many moisturizers as a step-saver.
You should always make sun protection a piority. Much of the evidence of aging; rough skin, wrinkels, age spots ect, are a result of to much sun exposure.

ADD WATER
Moist moisturizers are effective when applied to damp skin, it forms a thin film that will trap moisture in the skin

TIP
Don't buy a vitamin E, A, OR C enhanced moisturizer. Go to your local pharmacy, and purchase these vitamins in capsule form. Prick open the capsule, and add it to your moisturizer. You'll get all the benefits of the expensive cosmetic creams without the extra chemicals or expense.

Well folks hope these beauty tips will help your skin as well as being easy on your wallets.
I must say it has worked for me a great deal, my skin as improved and has been looking a lot more radiant. I'm reminded of that everytime someone asks, what are you doing that makes your skin look so good? and that puts a smile on my face.

Thanks for visiting, and taking the time off to read my beauty tips.
